The Saunum Air 5 combines a 4.95 kW electric sauna heater with Saunum's integrated climate-equalizing system, creating a single floor-standing system designed for sauna rooms from 106 to 212 cubic feet. Rather than functioning as a conventional heater alone, the Air 5 actively circulates air between the upper and lower areas of the sauna to help reduce temperature stratification and create more consistent conditions throughout the room. Its distinctive Nordic Black steel body incorporates a 110 lb (50 kg) stone capacity, three protected Incoloy heating elements, a three-speed heat and steam equalizer, telescopic ceiling-level hot-air intake, adjustable lower cool-air intake, and blended-air outlet. The system also incorporates Saunum's removable Himalayan salt and aroma tray for use with compatible salt spheres and optional aromatherapy products. Designed for 240V single-phase power, the Air 5 is rated at 4,950 watts and 20.6 amps. A compatible Saunum control system is required for operation and is sold separately. The heater is UL listed according to the supplied manufacturer specifications. A compatible Saunum control and 110 lb (50 kg) of 2–4 in sauna stones are required and sold separately.
