The HUUM HIVE Wood LS 17 is a 17.0 kW wood-burning sauna stove designed for sauna rooms from 283 to 565 cubic feet. The LS configuration features an extended firebox that allows firewood to be loaded from an adjacent room rather than from inside the sauna. Constructed from stainless steel, the HIVE Wood LS 17 features a stainless steel-framed furnace door with tempered glass and a robust 1/5 in thick stainless steel flame tamer. Its open HIVE design accommodates up to 287 lb (130 kg) of sauna stones, creating a substantial heated stone surface around the stove. The HIVE Wood LS 17 operates with wood fuel and does not require an electric sauna control for heating. A properly designed chimney/flue system is required for operation, while the extended firebox requires appropriate integration through the adjoining wall or partition according to HUUM installation requirements. Required sauna stones and chimney/flue components are sold separately.
