The HUUM HIVE 18 is a 18.0 kW floor-standing electric sauna heater designed for larger sauna rooms from 636 to 989 cubic feet. Its high-capacity cylindrical design accommodates up to 528 lb of sauna stones, making it suitable for larger residential installations and commercial environments such as spas, health clubs, and gyms. The open stainless-steel construction places the sauna stones in direct contact with the industrial-quality heating elements while providing a large exposed stone surface and substantial thermal mass. A pre-installed HIVE air tunnel is designed to improve airflow through the heater, which HUUM states helps shorten heat-up time and extend heating-element life. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Estonia, the HIVE 18 operates on 240V single-phase power. A compatible HUUM UKU control and UKU extension box are required for operation and sold separately. A compatible HUUM UKU control, UKU extension box, and 528 lb of sauna stones (16 boxes) are required and sold separately.
