Their smooth, rounded profile creates an organic appearance inspired by naturally rounded stones while providing substantial thermal mass for traditional sauna bathing. The rounded shape allows water to travel between the stones and reach lower heated layers, increasing the stone surface contacted during water application. Olivine diabase is selected for its durability, density, and ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles in sauna environments. Each box contains 44 lb (20 kg) of 4–6 in (10–15 cm) rounded stones. Because these are natural stones, individual pieces vary in shape, size, texture, and appearance.
